I began my career with Richard Byars Interior Design as Susan Brown. Since 1989, I have conducted business as Susan Brown Spieler and the name of my firm is Spieler Interior Design Associates. Since my years with Richard Byars, I have successfully created my own firm and have worked on numerous projects throughout Santa Barbara and Northern California.
Spieler Interior Design Associates has been featured on HGTV’s number one show, Designer’s Challenge episode: Sophisticated Family Room #DSC-1109, and was selected as the winning design team for the project. Additionally, we have been published the June 2000 and June 2003 issues of Audio Video Interiors and the Spring 2004 issue of Santa Barbara Season Magazine.
