On Design Santa Barbara we take you to a home that Maraya Droney has completely transformed for her client. Just north of Los Angeles in Newbury Park with your host Michael Kourosh.
When walking into this beautiful home you begin at the entry. Where you will find yourself looking up at high ceilings. As well as, a tall colorful custom made vase. Made of Malibu tile filled with color to make it big, bright and bold. In addition to brighten the room a little more. Making the entryway feel warm and welcoming for guest.
You then find yourself in the main court yard. Which follows with the sound of a waterfall from the fountain that is surrounded with plants and pots that bring a pop of color to the place.
Living Space
Furthermore, leading you to the homes secondary entryway with a long archway where you will find the living room and bar space. Featuring, a beautiful combination of colors. For instance, blue, green, and touches of terracotta. Furthermore, making this home feel warm and inviting for friends and family to enjoy.
The next section of this amazing home is the kitchen area, where the first thing that will catch your eye is the big island. With a custom made chandelier hanging right over it that Maraya designed. The dining area adds fun colors, designs, and textures making it look more attractive.
Heading through the rest of the house where you will find the family room, master bedroom, sitting room and outdoor area. All very elegant warm and full of colors just like the rest of the house. This home has a classic style with a touch of Spain with a lot of color just as the client requested.
