Padera home
It was time for the Padera home to receive a face lift. The house was built to look old, therefore it had a lot of old beams, floors, doors and curtains. Leesa Wilson Goldmuntz made it feel fresh and updated for 2018.
On this episode of Design Santa Barbara we go out to Carpinteria to go visit Leesa Wilson Goldmuntz where she has a wonderful project at the beach.
When you first pull up to this beautiful home in Carpinteria you see right away that it is surrounded by nature and you see a wonderful view of the ocean. The home was build in the mid 80’s and was owned by a family for about 15 years.
LIVING ROOM
BEFORE
AFTER
The living room before was very dark and out of date. Now you come in and feel like you are in a new home. Although the furniture they had before was great, it was just from a different era and needed a little help. Its important for others to see a house, how its sapost to live today. The great thing about this living room is you get a wonderful view from the living room of the big ocean.
FAMILY ROOM
BEFORE
AFTER
The family room also has a wonderful view of the ocean. Leesa incorporated a sectional in this room because it really brings the family together and its very conversational. Along with a bar to enjoy a fun night with friends and family.
DINING ROOM
BEFORE
AFTER
The dining room is the most breath taking. You can really see the transformation. Before there was a mural in the dining room with an Italian feeling to it. By removing that and painting the walls white and adding some updated pieces then it really makes it feel like home.
